I started my sports career with swimming at the age of 7 in a local swimming club in my home town Villach,Austria. There I’ve been coached for several years from Manuela Freidl, who made my swimming to what it is now. Then in 2006 I had my first brush with triathlon competing in a local aquathlon in Pula, whereas I kept on swimming for 2-3 years in Klagenfurt. Then I turned to triathlon again in 2008 doing my first Junior European Cup in Tiszaujivaros.
Although I have just started this season, 2010/2011 to train seriously with my new and current coach, Martin Papista. We did a lot on my running, which was my weak point. My latest and best results so far are my 7th place at the Junior EC in Pontevedra and my 12th place at Junior WC in Bejing, both in 2011, as well as I claimed my first ever World Champion title in the U23 Aquathlon in Bejing.
My biggest goal in my further career are the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. Meanwhile I would like to be a professional triathlete.
I’ve just graduated high school in Austria at the Sports Gymnasium in Klagenfurt and now I’ll start to study sports science and Kinesiology at the University of Zagreb.
My most important sponsor so far is definetly my family, who is always supporting me wherever they can.
