I first competed at a triathlon in my hometown with some friends, and I had a lot of friends and so stayed with triathlon. I have a family history in sport; my father was a soccer player on the junior national team, and my mother was a diver.
I currently train in Saarbrucken, and during a typical training week I do seven hours of swimming, seven hours of cycling, and five hours of running. My personal best swim time (1500m) is 18:30, bike (40km) 57:00, and run (10km) 34:00. My favorite ITU race has been Hamburg, because of the countless fans in the street. My triathlon goals are to become a professional athlete and to participate at the Olympic Games.
Something that the triathlon world may not know about me is I have a coffee addiction.
