Athlete Biography
Michelle became a triathlete in 1996 because she was prone to running injuries. Michelle began swimming at the late age of 24, however through hard work and determination, she slowly cllimbed the ITU Triathlon rankings. Her future goals include winning the BG Triathlon World Championships and finishing higher at the 2008 Olympics than her 6th place finish in 2004.
Career highlights include winning the 2004 ITU Salford World Cup and
Competing in 1994 Commonwealth Games 10000m final.
