ITU BG Sponsorship

BG has a long-term global partnership with the ITU, the governing body of the Olympic sport of Triathlon, to help increase world-wide reach, participation and resources for the sport through to 2014.

The partnership is unprecedented in the history of triathlon with BG Group providing significant resources and investment to support the sport’s global development at both grass roots and elite levels. 

Triathlon – swimming, cycling, running - is one of the world’s fastest growing, diverse and environmentally friendly sports. BG will provide annual funding for the next nine years and the ITU’s flagship event series is renamed BG Triathlon World Cup.
