We are in the pleasant position to announce the launch of the ITU Technical Officials Level 1 Re-validation E-Seminar, which is used for the re-validation of the ITU Technical Officials Level 1 certification. This online platform is part of the ITU On-line Education Hub (https://education.triathlon.org/) aims to offer the possibility to the ITU Technical Officials Level 1 who need to re-validate their status to do it on-line. In this way, we are reducing a lot the travel time and expenses that the officials and the NFs had to spend for re-validating the TOs certification levels.

This year the course is provided only in English and as such, the participants need to have an intermediate level of English language.

The e-seminar was set up on the Moodle e-learning platform. There is a combination of theory, recorded webinars and student activities which hopefully will reinforce the quality control that we want to implement on our education system and create not only competent but at the same time capable officials, who can apply their skills on any environment.

For 2016 76 Technical Officials from 20 countries   have signed up for the course.
