A good activator will have a range of skills and whilst they may not be considered an expert in any one area, their all-round skills and personality will enable them to deliver fun and engaging activities for a wide range of participants, and they will be able to inspire people to become more involved in the sport.
The core themes identified as part of the Activator role, should include:
•Good Governance for National Federations.
•Leadership of triathlon activities.
•Event/ Race organisation.
•Technical Officiating.
