      <description>Following the recent resignation of inaugural CEO Matt McKerrow, TI is currently recruiting for a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next phase of operations and development. This is a unique career opportunity for an experienced sports management professional to further impact on the development of the sport in Ireland. 

About the Role
Triathlon Ireland is the National Governing Body for the sport of triathlon, and other related multisports across the island of Ireland. The role encompasses the day&#45;to&#45;day operational running of the company, overall management of other staff, as well as the effective and efficient delivery of a range of services and programs. Exceptional leadership/governance skills, and the ability to build and manage strong stakeholder relationships and motivate staff and volunteers is essential. A general passion for sport and knowledge of the Irish sports system, as well as triathlon specific knowledge will be required to support and mentor staff.
 
Reporting directly to TI Board through the President, the successful applicant will be charged with building upon the solid foundations established in the most recent Olympic cycle. Specifically, targets for the organisation towards 2016 include leading the organisation to a membership base in excess of 10,000; the qualification of four athletes to Rio 2016; the embedding of junior participation initiatives and the triathlon coaching network; and driving commercial initiatives to generate increased revenue for the organisation.
 
A competitive remuneration package circa €50&#45;70K will be offered, commensurate with the qualifications, skills and experience of the successful applicant.
 
The successful applicant will be required to complete all necessary conditions of TI&#8217;s Safeguarding Code for Young People including satisfactory vetting by the Garda Vetting Unit in Ireland and Access NI in Northern Ireland.

      <description>International Triathlon Union (ITU) is seeking nominations from its National Federations to fill in a coach position in the ITU Classification Research Group. The main goal of this group is to obtain the necessary data, information and results that can help outline the fundamental structure of a Sport Specific Evidence Based Classification System for Paratriathlon.

It&#8217;s an exciting time for Paratriathlon, with the sport officially accepted onto the programme for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. This year a total of 72 athletes representing 18 different national federations competed in the Paratriathlon world championship races in Beijing.

The nominated individuals shall comply with the following provisions:

•	Accredited coaching certification in triathlon, with proven experience as an elite coach.&amp;nbsp; A coaching certification in swimming and cycling is an added asset.
•	Minimum 2 years of experience in Paratriathlon. (Added value if any experience with athletes with disabilities).
•	A degree in sport science is highly recommended.
•	Recommended to have some knowledge in Classification Systems for athletes with disabilities.
•	Capability to analyse and report of collected data through performed laboratory tests.
•	Fluent in English (Written and Spoken).
•	Availability to travel for 4&#45;5 day group meetings (first one in January/February 2012).

The Job:

7. Knowledge of of current methods of training planning
