It is no small secret triathletes should practice sighting on the swim. But did you know your line of vision is just as important in the transition area? Where your sight is focused can affect your balance and coordination in this often chaotic zone.

The many dynamic parts of a transition area can create unpredictable situations, which is why you should practice different scenarios to ensure you are ready for anything. One way to prepare is to create mock challenges you could encounter, making sure to focus on your sight and breathing to create your own rhythm while in transition.
