World Triathlon

The International Triathlon Union is now accepting applications for the 2009 ITU Sport Development Athlete and Coach Scholarships.  The primary objective of the scholarship programme is to identify and provide support, resources and expertise to athletes from emerging and developing National Federations to compete at World Cup, World Championship and Olympic levels.

Applicants for athlete scholarships will primarily come from Under23 ranks but others will be considered.  Coach applicants must be involved at a national federation level in the development of Junior, Under23 or Elite athletes.

All applicants must be nominated by their National Federation.

Application deadline is February 6th, 2009.
