ITU announces Committee Members & Athlete's Agreement

The ITU Executive Board recently confirmed candidates for vacant seats within ITU Committees. In accordance with ITU’s Constitution, Committees must be made up of at least one member of the opposite gender.

With several female candidates interested in the Committees, the ITU Executive Board voted to allow two members of the opposite gender to participate on Committees, while only one will have voting privileges. The newly appointed members will serve on the Committees until the next ITU Congress at which point the positions will be open for re-election.
