July 22 & 23, we again offer the opportunity to iron, long course and half iron triathletes and
friends a chance to preview The Grand Columbian
courses. This is the 8th training weekend we
have held over the last 3 years.
For information and course descriptions please visit
www.thegrandcolumbian.com
On Saturday morning, July 22, athletes will meet to
ride the Grand Columbian bike courses. Athletes will
meet in front of the upper rest rooms at Coulee
Playland, HWY 155 [the Grand Columbian transition
area] at 9:00 AM.  Due to the two loop configuration
triathletes will have the option of riding 50, 60, 90 or
108 miles at your training level. All will follow the
routes on the maps provided on the website. The
route is awesome in its vistas, a bit challenging and a
rare chance to train on mostly deserted county
roads.  The training day is an informal event –
self directed by all athletes.  However, there will be
water, hydration and gels on the bike route.
