Y esta es la Foto ITU del Año

Te has expresado y has votado y aquí está el resultado de la competencia de la Foto ITU del Año 2011. La imagen tomada por Delly Carr que muestra a las tres Emmas australianas celebrando en el podio resultó ser la foto del año. Y por cierto fue un día histórico en Hamburgo cuando Emma Moffatt, Emma Jackson y Emma Snowsill se quedaron con todas las medallas y celebraron en el podio con una lluvia de cerveza.

Con más del 25 por ciento del total de los votos, la imagen superó fácilmente al resto de las finalistas. La foto que salió segunda obtuvo el 17,89 por ciento de los votos y fue la del para triatleta marroquí Mohamed Lahna cruzando la línea de llegada en el Campeonato Mundial. Esta superó por un escaso margen a la de los hermanos Brownlee en tándem en Madrid, la cual obtuvo el tercer puesto.

Durante la semana de votación de la imagen del evento de Hamburgo, Delly carr también había elegido la toma de las tres Emmas:

“Tres hermosas y sonrientes atletas australianas, y mucha, mucha cerveza fría. Den una razón por la que un australiano como yo no creería que es la mejor imagen del día. No puedo dejar de sonreir daca vez que la miro. ” - Delly Carr
