Spanish Paratriathlon Championships

15 athletes compete in the inaugural Paratriathlon Spanish Championships held in Cangas de Morrazo near Pontevedra in the region of Galicia. Covering a 300m swim, 8km cycle and 2km run, a whole range of participants took to the course with two seasoned internationals locking horns with a few triathlon debutants. Despite the cloudy weather the event was a success and Spain’s first paratriathlon champions can now look forward to some hard winter training before the 2010 season.
