Explanation of the London 2012 course
The Olympic Triathlon will begin and end in Hyde Park, whilst taking in some of London’s most iconic landmarks including Buckingham Palace, the Serpentine, Wellington Arch and Hyde Park Corner.
Come down to one of the 8 Triathlon Live locations around the UK - participate in our unique triathlon set-up and watch all the action on a big screen in a city centre near you.

The events will begin with a 1,500m swim in the Serpentine; continue with a seven-lap, 43km bike ride around a course that takes in Buckingham Palace and the Wellington Arch; and end with a four-lap, 10km run around the Serpentine to the finish.

The Dates
Women’s event - Saturday 4th August at 9.00am
Men’s event - Tuesday 7th August at 11.30am
