General information
The Camp is open for Junior athletes aged 16-19 years and it is suggested that they should also be competing in the Bonaqua Africa Junior Triathlon Cup Troutbeck.
Africa Triathlon will cover the accommodation, meals, transfers (HARARE CAMP ONLY) and covid-19 departure PCR tests for the maximum of 2 x male and 2 x female JUNIOR athletes from any one National Federation.
A TOTAL of 20 athletes will be accepted for the Camp.
National Federations will be given preference based on:
• Athletes competing at the Bonaqua Africa Junior Triathlon Cup Troutbeck.         
• The current and 2019 Junior Africa Rankings and also prior Continental competition experience.
• Based on a roll-down policy, athletes from other NFs or additional athletes from the ranked NFs, will be considered.
Additional to the Head Coaches, a maximum of 5 NF appointed Coaches will be supported for their accommodation, meals and transfers for the duration of the Camp.
Camp will begin on the evening of 26 September and will end on the 2 October.
The Camp attendees will all stay in a Bio-Bubble environment for both the event (at Troutbeck) and the Camp (Harare).
National Federation Coaches present at the Cup event will also be asked and encouraged to assist with sessions as determined by the Head Coaches for them to also gain experience.

Covid-19 information
As we are all very conscious of the Covid-19 pandemic, all efforts will be made to ensure the safest possible environment for athletes and coaches alike, but all participants do need to personally ensure that they strictly maintain all protocols to minimise this risk.
For arrival at the events, and the Camp, all required protocols with regard to Covid-19 will be sent to you as well as key information for the Camp regarding equipment, clothing and related activity schedules by the LOC and the Head Coaches.

Further administration
There will also be important documents and information required from parents and guardians, as requested by the Head Coaches and World Triathlon for participation at this Camp. This will be circulated once the final list of participants has been confirmed.
