An impressive group of Olympic medallists,  World Cup winners, Olympians, Commonwealth Games winners and promising up and comers make up the start list for the 2006 Edmonton BG Triathlon World Cup on Sunday July 9th in Edmonton’s Hawrelak Park.
Local boy, Paul Tichelaar will join Hunter Kemper, Bevan Docherty, Hamish Carter and Reto Hug on the start line. Local girl, Carolyn Murray will line up with Emma Snowsill, Maxine Sear, Liz Blatchford and Rina Hill. Competition promises to be fast and fierce as competitors tough it out on the course for their share of the $100,000 (US) prize purse and valuable Olympic qualifying points.
