Early arrivals in Harare on Wednesday 30 March can be planned - overnight stay at MONOMATAPA HOTEL in Harare will be necessary (for athletes account)  Rates : USD 75 per night Bed and Breakfast Single Occupancy / USD 90 per night Bed and Breakfast Double (2 people sharing)  - Airport Shuttle Service available USD 15 per trip.  Please advise LOC of your requirements so that bookings can be made.
 
** There rates will also apply for overnight stay in Harare on Sunday 3rd April for departures on Monday 4th April

SWIM -
Water Temperature - expect 20 degrees
Laps - Sprint - 1 x 750m lap
Start Mechanism - Deep water
Conditions - Lake - clean, disease and animal free

BIKE -
Laps - Sprint - 3 x 6.6km laps - hilly and technical.  No requirement for gear/cassette changes.  16% gradient.  Road closures.

RUN -
Laps - Sprint - 2 x 2.5km laps - hilly, 19% gradient, 90% pavement, 10% grass

COVID 19 PROTOCOLS - please refer to the Athletes Guide and Concept Paper Document for more information -
A PCR Test should be carried out 48 hours prior to travel - check with your airline for specific requirements - NO QUARANTINE REQUIRED
Pre-Event screening must by submitted via the WT system by each individual
PPE/Medical Certificate must be submitted by each individual
A PCR Test or antigen test must be done by every athlete on site at the race venue Friday 1st April (check schedule)
Daily screening will be carried out for every participant, coach and official
COMPULSORY - Every athlete/coach/official will have to have a PCR test before travelling back to their home countries (check Athlete Guide for schedule).  This will be done at the host hotel on Sunday 3rd April - Budget cost USD 60 per person

It is RECOMMENDED that all flights booked MUST arrive by 1300 on THURSDAY 31ST MARCH and departures on MONDAY 4TH APRIL to coincide with PCR testing timetables.

PRE-FLIGHT PCR tests will be done by every athlete/coach/manager at the venue PRIOR to departure back to Harare on Sunday 3rd April BUDGET USD 60 PER PERSON

FREE bus transfers in sanitized and spacious vehicles from Harare airport to venue on Thursday 31ST MARCH - Return from venue to Harare overnight accommodation on Sunday 3RD APRIL and to Harare International Airport on Monday 4TH APRIL

Expect a 3-4 hour journey by road to venue.  Bikes are transported in secure, closed trucks and travel in convoy with the transfer coach to venue

Return transfer will depart from venue on SUNDAY 3RD APRIL following completion of compulsory PCR testing.  Athlete Liaison Catherine Jennings will confirm departure time.
