The first-ever WTS Bermuda event was historical for more ways than one. In the men's race, Norweigan Casper Stornes had an impressive breakaway performance to win his first-career WTS race. He then was joined on the podium by his Norweigan training partners and compatriots, Kristian Blummenfelt and Gustav Iden to sweep the medal count for the nation. It was also the first time in ITU history that a single nation swept the podium in a WTS men's race.
