ITU is seeking a Mentorship Partner

The International Triathlon Union (ITU), an association based in Lausanne (Switzerland), is seeking to appoint a partner with whom to deliver a mentorship programme across the five Continental Federations of the organisation. The programme will likely be phased over a 24 month period and will seek to train about 100 mentors. The programme is also targeting coaches, technical officials and facilitators form all type of development seminars and courses with special focus on women development.

The partner should have a minimum experience of 3 years in delivering this kind of programmes. 

The training for the first group of mentors should be augmented with a ‘train-the-trainer’ day for designated continental nominees who will assist in the roll-out and administration of the programme.

Any questions in relation to the tender document should be sent to Zita Csovelyak at by Friday, 8th February 2019. Responses to all questions received will be shared with the other tendering parties.

All submissions should be received no later than Friday, 15th February 2019.

You may be asked to make a presentation to a small ITU committee during the week of 25th February in order to assist our assessment of the tendering parties.

ITU will advise the winner of the tender process no later than Friday, 1st March 2019.

Vendor Questions
1. Your Company
a. Please provide the name, address, phone, email and website of your company
b. Please provide a brief history of your company detailing the forms of collaboration you have been involved with and the types of organisations that you have worked with.
c. Please confirm that you are fully tax compliant with your relevant tax authority.

2. Your People
a. Please provide details of the team members that you would propose work with ITU and the roles that they would fulfil. Please specify any formal qualifications they hold in relation to leadership / mentorship training. It is very important the expertise of the people who will deliver the training sessions.

3. Your Approach
a. Please outline the approach/methodology that you would recommend ITU follow in collaboration with yourselves to roll-out a mentorship programme? What are the essential ingredients to a successful mentor programme? 
b. Please advise how you might work with ITU to deliver the Mentor Training in Spanish (for Latin America) and French (for North Africa).

4. References
a. Please provide the names, contact details, company name and a brief summary of the work completed with prior clients.

5. Costs
a. Please outline the proposed costs for the delivery of the programme, and the ‘out-of-pocket’ expenses you expect to be reimbursed.
b. Please prepare a ‘total cost schedule’ of your costs for the programme that you are recommending ITU approach.
c. Please detail if the proposal includes any taxes, specially VAT.
