World Triathlon

ITU would like to invite candidate nominations for this year’s Women’s Committee Award of Excellence to honor an individual who inspires us with his/her drive, leadership, creativity and commitment to advancing women’s involvement in triathlon.

The award will be presented to the chosen recipient at the Grand Final of the World Triathlon Series in Edmonton. Candidates must complete and submit a ‘Nomination Form’ along with all accompanying documentation.

Nomination forms are due by May 31st and the nomination form must be signed by the individual endorsing the nomination. The President or Secretary General (or equivalent) may sign on behalf of the National Federation.Nominations for meritorious candidates will be carried forward and remain active in the review process for up to three (3) years.

Award eligibility criteria
Women and men are eligible to receive this prestigious Award of Excellence.
To be considered, individuals may be:
- A triathlete (if elite, retired from active competition);
- An administrative leader;
- A coach; and/ or
- A builder (including, but not limited to, event organizer, official, communications or marketing specialist).
