World Triathlon

The ITU Technical Committee has released the new ITU Technical Officials certification lists for 2013. Since 2010, ITU has published the technical officials’ certification lists according to the ITU Technical Officials Certification procedure. All the technical officials activities (assigned events, education seminars and more) are recorded in the ITU Technical Officials database. Currently, there are more than 4300 technical officials from 103 countries, included in this database. To view the 2013 list, please click here. 
 
Overall, the figures from the last certification in 2012 to those in 2013 show a 15 percent increase in certified ITU Technical Officials, jumping from 727 to 937 TO’s worldwide. There was also a 31 percent increase in the certified ITU Level 1 TOs (NTO), a 23 percent increase in ITU Level 2 TOs (CTO), and a 9 percent increase in Level 3 TOs (ITO).
