Three months until the Inaugural ITU Multisport World Championships Festival!
Today marks the official three-month countdown to the ITU Multisport World Championships Festival in Penticton! The local organizing committee and ITU are working hard to prepare for thousands of athletes from around the world to descend on Penticton for what promises to be an incredible ten-day festival.
Last week the first athlete newsletter went out to all registered participants. We sent this via the lists shared from the National Federations. Do you think you should have received this newsletter but didn’t? Email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the distribution list. Watch for weekly updates in your inbox on everything related to the festival.
There has been incredible interest in athletes looking to add another race to their roster in Penticton as an open wave athlete. Thinking of doing another Duathlon? Perhaps adding Aquathlon as a warm up effort to your Long Distance World Championship race? You can compete on the same great course as the World Championship race in the final wave of the day. If you’re interested in racing but require another bike, look to our rental partners Freedom Bikes and Raceday Transport to add whatever bike you need for the day.
Speaking of bikes, if you need to transport yours, we have a great option in sponsor Raceday Transport. They will pack your bike, ship it to Penticton and re-assemble it for your race. There are other options available if you’re the type who likes to build your bike yourself.
