World Triathlon

Following the success of the paratriathlon anti-doping educational seminar at the 2010 Athlone ETU Triathlon European Championships in Ireland by Ailish Keaveney of the Irish Sports Council, there will be two similar sessions this weekend.

One of the educational sessions will be for paratriathletes competing in the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championships Hamburg. This session will be held on on Friday, July 16th at 7pm at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. This session will be given by Sonja Groning of the German National Anti-doping Organisation, NADA.

The second session this weekend will be in New York at the Hilton NY in the Americas Hall at 7am. This session will be on Saturday, July 17th at 7am. This event is being presented by Mellissa Lewis of USADA.

Both of these events are mandatory for the paratriathletes competing in the respective races.  However, if you would like to attend one of the sessions and you are not racing in one of these events, please contact the ITU Anti-doping department.
