Winter Triathlon
Winter triathlon involves a run, mountain bike and cross country ski (langlauf) – all on snow. Course distances are set on the day to achieve a winning time of around 80-90 minutes, after taking account of the snow conditions. New challenges are presented and wonderful opportunities are there for those seeking the next multisport horizon.
For novice Age Group athletes, it is certainly recommended to learn how to balance and propel oneself on cross-country skis. Opportunities can be found wherever there are langlauf pistes via the relevant continental langlauf or Nordic ski associations.
