The Namibia Triathlon Federation is excited to share the details for the 2021 Africa Duathlon Championships
to be hosted in Windhoek Namibia with athletes. We invite you to Windhoek the capital city of Namibia and
look forward to your participation in the first ever African Duathlon Championships on Namibian soil.

The event will be held in the central business district (CBD) of Windhoek. The following accommodation is

Transfers

Hosea Kutako International Airport is situated about 50km east of Windhoek. All Hotels and
accommodation hosts offer transfers. It is recommended that transfers are booked in advance.

Covid 19 Protocol

As per the COVID-19 guidelines, it is mandatory for AG athletes to complete the World Triathlon COVID-19
online screening process. This process involves:

* Fill in the online pre-event questionnaire.
* Perform an Antigenic or PCR swap pre- travel test within 72 hours before the athletes’ travel to the
event or no later than 6 days before the event for local athletes. Tests that must currently be taken
to gain entry to a country are valid as pre-travel tests.


  KINDLY NOTE - Every athlete/coach/official must have a negative PCR test before travelling back to their home
country. Details of testing facilities will be shared and the cost of the test are to be borne by the travelling party.
Average cost of tests range between USD65.00 and USD85.00 (NAD 950.00)
