Athlete Biography

My first triathlon was the 2008 Suixian ITU Asian Cup, and I’ve been training as part of the national team since 2009. The person who has had the most influence on my sporting career has been Chen Xiaoran. My favorite ITU race has been the 2009 Incheon YOG qualifier.

I currently train in Changping, Beijing, and during a typical training week I do 12 hours of swimming, 15 hours of cycling, and 12 hours of running. My personal best swim time (1500m) is 20:18, bike (40km) 1:06:47, and run 40:37.

The biggest obstacle I have had to overcome is injury. My triathlon goals are to be an Olympic champion, as well as an ITU world champion.
