Athlete Biography
I started swimming as a young kid, and heard of triathlon because of Vanessa Fernande’s victories, then decided to try it. I liked it, and now cannot live without it.
I currently train at the National Training Centre at Montemor-o-Velho, and during a typical training week I do 12 to 13 hours of swimming, eight to nine hours of cycling, and five hours of running. The biggest obstacle that I have had to overcome is the long, difficult training
