Athlete Biography
Blind from birth, Nancy Stevens, has been a triathlete for four years. For the past three years she has teamed up with sighted guide and USAT Level 1 Coach Nancy Reinisch. Together they are Team Nancy. Prior to triathlon Stevens participated in the Nagano Paralympic Games in Nordic Skiing. She grew up in an active family of seven where she was encouraged to follow her dreams.

Athlete Proudest Moment: According to the USAT website Team Nancy is the first all-woman blind and sighted guide triathletes to compete in an ITU World Event. Winning the World Championships in the Visually Impaired Division at JAL ITU Hawaii, Oct 9, 2005 stands out as Team Nancy's proudest moment to date.
