Athlete Biography

Started triathlon at 48yrs of age (no running/swimming/cycling background).  First World Championships, Perth 2000 (50-54 yrs) and then qualified for the next 8 out of 9 consecutive World Championships.  I have also represented Australia 3 times with Maccabi Australia (Maccabiah Games in Israel 2005 and 2009 and Pan American Games Buenos Aires in 2007 - 1 Gold and 2 Bronze medals) within this same 9 years.  Have raced 90 triathlons and never had a D.N.F. - including Lausanne with a broken elbow and Queenstown with a fractured sacrum.
