Athlete Biography
I started triathlon in 2003 thinking “I’ll just enjoy it, but won’t let it rule my life”. Since then I’ve spent all my disposable income, all my “spare” time, all my annual leave (and some long-service leave as well) on training, travelling, and racing - including 6 world championships in 3 years. My sport has taken me to amazing places, and introduced me to so many incredible and inspiring people. Although my bank account is depleted, I’m richer than I could have ever imagined!
