Athlete Biography
Rana placed fifth at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games Triathlon. Ivan Rana’s first World Championship title was in Cancun in 2002. The Spaniard has also placed second for the last two years running at the world Championships in both Queenstown and Madeira. Ivan often rises to the occasion for the big events but has yet to have a consistent season on the World Cup circuit. For now, Rana has stayed to true to his goal of remaining on the podium at ITU World Championships.
