Athlete Biography
First introduced to international competition in 2002, Laurent won a silver medal at the European Junior Championship.
Olympian in 2008, he finished 5th in the overall ranking of the ITU world cup with a podium finish in the final race.
Currently living and training between south of France and New Zealand , Laurent studies Political Science extramurally.
With the same coach who encouraged him to begin triathlon , Laurent is living a healthy balanced lifestyle and swears only by the Mark Twain motto “They didn’t know it was impossible so they did it”.
