Athlete Biography
Before triathlon, Victor was a lifeguard in California, therefore swimming and running were part of his job. Victor became a triathlete in 1997 because he wanted to compete at the US Collegiate National Championships. In college, he won the US Collegiate National Championships and turned professional shortly after in attempts to qualify for the Olympics. In 2000, he was the US Olympic Team alternate and in 2004 he qualifed for the US Athens Olympic Triathlon Team.
