The two and a half day event will be the third course under the new ITU Technical Education Programme, which aims to create a more structured pathway for all ITU TOs. All participants at the Level 3 course have to meet prerequisites, including two years experience as Level 2 officials and as a TD at least four ITU events. The first Level 3 course under the new structure took place in 2011 in Bali. All participants will be invited by ITU Sport Department.
The programme covers World Championship venue and technical operations, Olympic Games’ policies and procedures, Paratriathlon operations, team relay operations, communication strategies among TOs, athletes and coaches, and sustainability.
