INFORMATION ON TRAVELLING TO NEW ZEALAND
For any teams travelling to New Zealand to compete in the Auckland ITU Triathlon World Cup, please click here for details on whether you require a Visa. If your country is not on the Visa free country list, you will need to apply for a Visa to enter New Zealand.
When applying for a Visa you will require a letter of invitation. If you need assistance with this, please email michelle@triauckland.co.nz, and we will organise a formal invitation letter to be sent.

To ensure you have a completely positive experience in coming to New Zealand, here is a checklist to help you understand our arrival and departure requirements. We also want to keep New Zealand 100% Pure by protecting our natural resources, plants and animals from the introduction of pests and diseases


Entry fee for Age Group: 120 NZD;

Age Group race will be a selection race for the NZ team for the Grand Final in Auckland in 2012.
All races will be on same courses as in 2012 Grand Final

Distances: Swim: 1,5 km; Bike: 40 km; Run: 10 km;

Start Mechanism:

Pontoon start

Swim course:
Water temperature: 15deg Number of laps: 2
Sheltered Harbour, between 2 wharves

Elite Bike Course:
Number of laps:8
Hilly and technical, 3 climbs, longest 500m, 8 laps

Run Course:
Number of laps: 4 laps,
flat with one hill

Pool Training Facilities
There is an outdoor pool training facility available at the Parnell Baths, located at Judges Bay Rd, Parnell.  Phone 09-373 3561.  Complimentary access is available for Elite Athletes from Saturday 12 November to Sunday 20 November, with 2 exclusive lanes allocated between 9am and 3pm each day and use of general public lanes outside of these times.  Please provide proof of ID.
