A strong core helps improve effeciency on the bike
Improving your core strength is just a small way to vastly increase your capacity to crush the bike course. A strong core will help stabilize you on the bike, which will keep you from wobbling from side to side and wasting energy you will no doubt need later on in the race.
But amping up your core exercises isn’t the only thing you can do to improve your balance on the bike. Where you direct your sight, your head position and body tension all contribute to coordination.
