World Triathlon

This month the International Triathlon Union said farewell to Sport Development Officer Kristine Chambers who has been a member of the staff at ITU since February 2005.  With regret, she has decided to vacate her full time position with ITU Sport Development, as of November 1st, to be able to spend more time with her young son Timmy.  Kristine has made a huge impact on ITU Sport Development over the years, especially in the area of resource and programme development. Her positive energy and enthusiasm was infectious and her love for all matters related to teaching and learning will remain in the minds of all who worked with her. Fortunately Kristine will not be completely lost to our programmes as she will still be involved in contract work from time to time. Este mes la Unión Internacional de Triatlón dijo adiós a la Oficial del desarrollo Deportivo Kristine Chambers quien había sido miembro organizativo de la ITU desde Febrero del 2005. Con mucho pesar, ella ha decidido dejar vacante su puesto de jornada completa en el Desarrollo Deportivo de la ITU, desde el 1 de Noviembre y así poder pasar más tiempo con su joven hijo Timmy. Kristine ha hecho una enorme labor en el Desarrollo Deportivo de la ITU durante estos años, especialmente en el área para el desarrollo de programas y recursos. Su energía positiva y su entusiasmo eran contagiosos y su amor por todos los asuntos relacionados con la enseñanza y el aprendizaje permanecerán en las mentes de todos los que trabajaron con ella. Por suerte Kristine no se desvinculará completamente de nuestros programas ya que ella todavía estará involucrada con un trabajo a tiempo parcial.
