As part of the festivities at the ITU Team Triathlon World Championships in Lausanne, the ITU invited the IOC and other International Federations to enter teams in a fun team triathlon relay.

Among those competing were Gilbert Felli, the IOC’s Executive Director of the Olympic Games, ITU President Marisol Casado, ITU Vice-President Sarah Springman and several ITU and IOC staff.  As well, many other International Federations fielded teams including the FEI, AIBA, Sport Accord and European Athletics.

Congratulations to “Doctor Suzanne Black”, an IOC team, on winning the team relay by six seconds over the two Sport Accord teams that finished in second and third.

The ITU was represented in four teams and the top one finished 4th out of 16 teams.
