ITU Level 3 Technical Official Course - Bali, Indonesia, 15-17 April

A total of 11 officials from five countries participated in the ITU Level 3 Technical Official Course in Bali, Indonesia on 15-17 April to further enhance their event operation skills.  The two and a half day event is the first-ever course under the new ITU Technical Education Programme with its unique features of requiring the participants have two years experience as level 2 officials and as TD in at least four ITU events.

The programme covered World Championship venue and technical operations, Olympic policies and procedures, paratriathlon operations, team relay operations, communication strategies among TOs, athletes and coaches, and sustainability.  The group was organised by Ki Woo Kyong (KOR), ITU Continental Coordinator for Asia and Terry Sheldrake (NZL), ITU Continental Coordinator for Oceania with the support of the Indonesian Triathlon Federation.  Facilitators were served by Enrique Quesada (ESP) and Thanos Nikopoulos (GRE).
