World Triathlon

The media department of the International Triathlon Union has made great progress this year in an effort to increase exposure for the sport internationally.  ITU media expects substantial media coverage for this year’s world championships in Hamburg and will be offering the following services.

Live video coverage, real-time commentary and live results of the races will be available on ITU Tricast during the weekend.  This provides the opportunity to follow the races live from your home computer.  All elite, junior and under23 races will be covered live.

Rights-Free High Resolution Photography
The ITU will have three official photographers on site to capture high resolution images of the event.  These photos are free for editorial use with credit to the photographer and ITU (i.e. Frank Wechsel/ITU).

Special requests for high resolution photos are available on a first-come first-served basis.  Please forward any special image needs you require of a specific athlete or event to stephen.bourdeau@triathlon.org by no later then August 15th. 

There will also be AP, AFP and Reuters photographers on site.

Broadcast quality audio recordings will be taken of all post race interviews and will be available for download from the ITU Online Media Centre. 

Special athlete interview requests can be submitted to stephen.bourdeau@triathlon.org by no later then August 15th. 

Official results will be made available within 30 minutes of the finish of each race in the ITU Online Media Centre.  Please click on the following link for access to the Media Centre.
