The good vibrations for Lisa Norden (SWE) haven’t stopped in 2013. At Sweden’s annual sports award gala, “Idrottsgalan”, Norden was awarded not one or even two, but three of the country’s most esteemed accolades.

First up on the list of awards, the Olympic silver medallist was honoured with the Achievement of the Year award, beating out Sweden’s soccer team for their comeback against Germany after being down four goals to tie the score at 4-4.

She was also named the Female Athlete of the Year for her Olympic performance and World Championship title. She then rounded out the night by winning the “Jerringpriset”.

The prize, considered one of Sweden’s most important sport awards, is voted on by the public. Norden received an overwhelming 37% of the votes from a TV audience of nearly two million viewers.
ITU President Marisol Casado was also present to share Norden’s special night, as were her family, friends, coaches and sponsors.
