Once more our country’s most important triathlete competition is coming. The most important international figures will be at the start list at the Casa de Campo with the intention of taking the event, but we, the Spanish athletes will give our best because it is a focal point race in our calendar.

Last year event was one of the best for the Spanish Triathlon, where the feminine and masculine category provided us with all sort of medals. Our illusion and effort will make us fight to achieve last year’s results even knowing the difficulty. We hope that spectators can have fun with a GOOD TRIATHLON and that contributes that the fans continue growing as it has done on the past years.

I would like to profit on this occasion to thank for all the support the Spanish athletes received and hope we count on you once more, being your support so important that in some occasions it can make us achieve the victory.

Sports talking, I feel on a good moment and with an extra motivation for the good results achieved this season. I’m running at home, without forgetting this race and its participants. I foresee a hard race from the first moment; with a swim a little bit tricky propitious for cuts on the segments, a bike good for the attacks on each single climb and a quick run race where hot can be a predominant factor. Hard rivals as the Kahlefeldt, Don, Belaubre, Robertson, Ospaly, Docherty, Henning and all the others will difficult us things. Of course, that’s a priory, but if there is something beautiful on this sport, is it, each race is different and less predictable. It obliges making tactical decisions quickly on competition.

Finally, I encourage all triathlon fans to approach Casa de Campo for having fun with a spectacular race where the Spanish riders will give our best to revalidate last years’ results.
It won’t be easy, we are the objectives and one of our medal possibilities, our winner Ana Burgos is injured. I would like to encourage Ana on this complicated moment, but we still have an important allied: the fans.

We will give our best. Have fun and don’t miss it!!!
