New Plymouth, New Zealand: October 25 update: Currently the inaugural ITU Triathlon World Cup in New Plymouth is shaping up to be one of the best of the season. There is still room in both the men’s and women’s event and ITU have agreed to extend the deadline to Sunday October 30th to accommodate any athletes now wishing to travel to New Plymouth as a result of the cancellation of Cancun.

The New Zealand Triathlon Federation and Race Organiser, Terry Sheldrake, have graciously offered to find home-stays for any athletes who have been adversely affected and wish to now travel to New Zealand. This offer extends to extra time before the event if need be.
