Shoemaker wins U23 world championships.

Jarrod Shoemaker has just claimed the gold medal for the USA in the 2005 ITU Gamagori U23 men’s triathlon championships with an incredible sub 32 minute 10 km run. Daniil Sapunov (KAZ) took the silver medal with Bertrand Boulch from France claiming the bronze.
Shoemaker seemed to cruise through the stifling heat to take the gold, looking even stronger than he was in his impressive seventh place in the elite race in the Tiszaujvaros world cup in Hungary three weeks ago.
