With just two races to go before the Dextro Energy Triathlon - ITU World Championship Series Champions are crowned, viewers watching the events via the live TV broadcasts will be able to keep tabs on how the top athletes are performing under their skin.

Current World Champion Javier Gomez from Spain, Olympic Champion Jan Frodeno and German compatriot Daniel Unger will be wearing Suunto Comfort Belts during the bike and run legs of the Yokohama Dextro Energy Triathlon - ITU World Championship Series round on Sunday August 23, transmitting heart rate information that is displayed on-screen during the TV broadcast.

In the women’s race on August 22, local hero Ai Ueda and American athlete Sarah Haskins will be wearing the Comfort Belt, which uses ANT technology to ensure disturbance free and accurate transmission.

Additionally, GPS technology, made possible by Suunto, will provide live speed and distance data during the cycling and running sections.
