The ITU Anti-doping Team would like coaches of elite and recreational athletes to be aware that the World Anti-doping Agency (WADA) has launched an online tool for them called CoachTrue. Coaches have an important role to play in ensuring that their athletes are not tempted by doping.

WADA has created a series of tools to assist anti-doping organizations, coaching associations and international federations in providing anti-doping education to coaches.  In order to cater to the various learning styles and demanding schedules of coaches, WADA has created CoachTrue, a computer-based anti-doping learning tool.

There are also modules for coaches of young or recreational-level athletes. The following features are included in the recreational-level module of CoachTrue:
Tutorials: A series of presentations with voice-overs that provide essential information on topics, including: 1. Health consequences of doping 2. Decision making.
Scenario-Based Activities: Practical application of acquired knowledge to possible real-life scenarios.
Who Wants to Play True: A fun way for coaches to test their knowledge of anti-doping issues.
