GENERAL INFO: RACE
The race will take place in the very heart of Kazan, the metropolis which hosted such large sports events as
the World Summer Universiade 2013;
the World Championship in Fencing in 2014;
the Aquatics Championship FINA 2015;
2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and FIFA World Cup 2018.
Elite races will be held on:
July 27, 2019 in Kazan, Russia
AG races will be held on:
July 28, 2019 in Kazan, Russia
Sprint distance: swim - 750 m, bike — 20 km, run — 5 km
The course: swimming
The swimming stage will take place in the Kazanka river.
It is a perfect location with the absence of waves.
In 2015 the best swimmers of the world competed there at FINA World Championship.
Average water temperature in July: +23°C
Average air temperature in July: +25°C
The course: cycling
The bike course is designed along the main city streets. You will ride from the Kremlin dam to the Millenium bridge and will admire the major sights of Kazan.
This is the best sightseeing tour you can imagine!
The course: running
The running course goes along the Kremlin embankment and concludes with the festive finish with the applauds of the hundreds of fans.
