Dear POWERMAN Alsdorf Family,

the people responsible for the POWERMAN Alsdorf would first and foremost like to express their sincere gratitude to the long-standing and new sponsors. Without the generous support of these committed partners, there would be no prospect of the POWERMAN Alsdorf continuing. Likewise, we raise our appreciation to the city of Alsdorf, the StädteRegion Aachen and the associations that have supported our project from the very beginning. Last but not least, our thanks also go to all the participants and fans who, with their enthusiastic support, embody the essence of what the POWERMAN Alsdorf stands for.

The continued support of our partners and the passionate dedication of the athletes and fans have led us to develop an ambitious two-year plan. In 2024, the POWERMAN Alsdorf, supported by the European Championships and the German Championships over the middle distance (10 km/ 60 km/ 10 km), will grow into one of the most important sporting events in the StädteRegion Aachen on 5 May.

But that’s not all: In close cooperation with POWERMAN, the German Triathlon Union, the city of Alsdorf, the StädteRegion Aachen and our generous sponsors, we have managed to open a special door. We are proud to announce that the POWERMAN Alsdorf has been officially recognized as a candidate to host the World Duathlon Championships over the middle distance in 2025. If we succeed in realizing this project, a Duathlon World Championship will take place in Germany for the first time. This milestone would catapult us into an order of magnitude we have always dreamed of.

So the POWERMAN Alsdorf will not only remain an important sporting event in the StädteRegion Aachen, but could also revolutionize the world of duathlon. We are determined to achieve this goal with you and will do everything in our power to bring the World Championship over the middle distance to Alsdorf in 2025.
