World Triathlon

The 2023 World Triathlon Anti-Doping Education Plan is now available online and features Anti-Doping Education modules available for athletes and coaches on the World Triathlon Education and Knowledge Hub. Each course is composed of a different module, an activity as well as a survey. Each coach and athlete needs to complete all the modules and to pass the activity (reach a score of 80%+) in order to receive the certificate. Each course allow athletes and coaches to learn about the Anti-Doping rules and are a refresher for those who have previously completed the course.

The Anti-Doping Education modules have been tailored for coaches, juniors and U23 athletes, international World Triathlon athletes and para triathletes. Those who are obligated to complete the course have until August 31st, 2023, to do so. A specific module for Age-Group athletes is currently being developed.

High-Performance Coach Anti-Doping Education 2023
This is for Coaches accredited in World Triathlon’s Events. From 2023, World Triathlon requires all Coaches who are willing to obtain accreditation at World Triathlon’s Events to complete an anti-doping education module. World Triathlon Certified Coaches who already completed their 2023 annual revalidations are fulfilling this requirement and are not obliged to take this course.

Youth Athlete Anti-Doping Education 2023
This module is for Juniors and U23 (Youth) athletes who will compete in the 2023 World Triathlon Championship Finals and/or the 2023 World Triathlon Sprint and Relay Championships in 2023.

International Athletes Anti-Doping Education 2023
This module is for International athletes from World Triathlon RTP/TP and for athletes from the different discipline’s rankings: World Triathlon Ranking, Duathlon, Long Distance Triathlon, Winter Triathlon, Aquathlon and Continental rankings as of January 1st, 2023.

International Para Athletes Anti-Doping Education 2023
This module is for Para Athletes from the following category’s ranking: PTS2, PTS3, PTS4, PTS5, PTWC and PTVI and the para triathletes from the World Triathlon RTP/TP.
